Imbolc, the ancient festival celebratinng the rising of spring energy, midway between the mid-winter solstice and the spring equinox, is a time of the pulsing of new life, dedicated to Brigid, Bridie or St Bride, as the Maiden, promising the flow of good things to come.Your puja ticket includes the workshop, refreshments, a nutritious vegetarian supper, snacks and drinks throughout the night, and an energising breakfast. The puja will be held in a beautiful felt-lined and wood-heated Mongolian Yurt with candle light and fairylights, comfortable beds and mattresses to rest and sleep on. Said to be as transformational as 2 years of solo meditation, the gong puja is a beautiful dream-like experience, as created and taught by Gong Master Don Conreaux., with whom Jackie trained.We begin with an afternoon workshop to learn simple gong-playing techniques, unnderstand thhe structure and flow of the Puja, prepare the space together, and then have some quiet time to relax, with a plant-based meal and drinks provided. Each person has a space to set up their bedding 'nest' for the night - bring your own sleeping bag or duvet, eye-covering, water bottle. The puja ceremony will begin around 9pm and close soon after dawn. Then we rest, rise for a delicious nourishing breakfast, and to pack down the space. Leaving by 10am.Every gong puja is different - unique to the energy of the moment and the people gathered to share in it.Jackie brings a lifetime’s experience of creative wellbeing facilitation as an artist/educator, yoga teacher (600 hr trainings), sound healer, Reiki Master and founder of Trevellan Magic Space eco-retreat near Falmouth.Jackie also holds regular fireside soundbaths and gong yoga nidra sessions, and offers private individual, couples and small group sound healing sessions, retreats and workshops.
