A community reading and discussion of Frederick Douglass’ historic speech, “What to the Slave is the Fourth of July?” which offers an opportunity to explore Douglass’ legacy and its impact on American history. 

Also join us for an interactive drum circle led by  percussionist Cornell Coley. All ages welcome —no experience needed. Drums provided.

All are welcome to participate in this engaging and educational experience.
