The Network is open to all individuals over 50, community workers, and volunteers from third sector organisations delivering a service supporting Older Persons within the Falkirk District area. We warmly encourage organisations supporting older adults to bring along one or two members aged 50+ who may be interested in learning more about the network, meeting others, and finding out what is available locally.Focused on local priorities, we are pleased to welcome Professor Ross McGuffie, Chief Executive of NHS Forth Valley, to discuss NHS Forth Valley's Population Health Strategy. Together, we will consider what population health means for older people in Falkirk District and how communities and local organisations can contribute.We will then enjoy a short information session on Power of Attorney and Wills from Vivienne Malcolm, Solicitors for Older People Scotland. Before opening the floor for group discussion on the priorities for older people locally - welcoming members to identify the issues that matter most and explore how the Network can continue to be a strong voice for older people.Members will also help shape the upcoming plans for Falkirk Older People's Day 2026, sharing ideas and discussing how the Network can work together to make this year's event a success. To close the session, we encourage updates from member organisations, giving everyone the opportunity to share news, upcoming events and examples of good practice from across Falkirk District.Please note that photographs will be taken during the event and may be used for promotional purposes by CVS Falkirk & District.
