This is a Revco Trio Blind Draw tournament. When messaging your hosts to sign up, please provide your group of three, which MUST be two females and one male. IF we cannot fill all of the spots we will open it up to solo or buddy signups, but NOT at this time.
Your trio will randomly placed on a team with another trio for a total of 4 females and 2 males. Both nets will be women’s height. PLEASE NOTE: THE ONE EXCEPTION IS THAT THE CCC WILL BE PLAYING TOGETHER TO PRACTICE FOR NATIONALS.
As a reminder, revco format means that men cannot jump serve, hit in the front row, or leave their feet in the front row. While back row hitting and blocking without jumping by men is permitted, please remember the revco format is designed to let the women shine!
The tournament will be held at JCC at the PHED Complex at 290 Curtis St. Ext, Jamestown, NY 14701. Format will be timed games of 12 minutes. All teams will make playoffs and single/double elimination will be determined day depending on the number of teams and what time pool play is finished.
Check in is at 9:30 AM with play to begin by 10:00 AM. Pizza is included and will be provided between noon and 1. We expect to conclude play between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
If you must cancel, we kindly ask you do so within 24 hours of check in time.
Absolutely NO alcohol, nicotine products, marijuana products or illegal substances are not acceptable at this location! Additional legal ramifications may occur as this is a school property. Anyone breaking this rule will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. No exceptions!
Kindly, no beginners, for safety purposes. Level of play expected is HIGH-REC and above! Winners will receive $20!
The cost is $25 per player. Please TEXT OR MESSAGE Jenny or Kelsey to sign up. PLEASE NOTE, you are not signed up if you click ‘going’ or ‘interested’. All participants will receive a pre-tournament text the week of the tournament. If you DO NOT receive this, you are NOT signed up.
If at all possible to pay cash for this tournament, we would greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, when signing up, please ask if you would like to pay using a different format. PLEASE DO NOT VENMO THE CCVC.
