Swing for a Cure

“Swing for a Cure” is a fundraising golf scramble organized by The Residence at Presque Isle Bay designed to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's disease research. Whether you're a seasoned golfer or a casual player, this event offers an opportunity to enjoy a round of golf with friends, family, or coworkers—all while supporting a cause that touches the lives of so many.

The day will feature a friendly scramble format, where teams of four will work together to navigate the course and compete for fun prizes. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy:

• Lunch & Refreshments: Hot Dogs and chips will be provided at the turn to keep you fueled on the course. A Steak dinner will follow after all golfers have finsihed.
• Raffles: Exciting prizes and raffle baskets will be available to purchase tickets for, all in support of our mission.
• On-Course Challenges: Fun challenges like longest drive, closest to the pin, and more!

Why We Play:

Alzheimer's disease affects over 6 million Americans, and that number is expected to grow in the coming decades. “Swing for a Cure” is dedicated to raising funds for critical research, patient care, and support services for individuals living with Alzheimer's and their families.

Every swing, every hole, and every dollar raised brings us closer to the day we can put an end to this devastating disease. We hope you will join us for a day of hope, support, and, of course, great golf.

How You Can Help:

1. Register a Team: Gather your friends, family, or colleagues and sign up for the scramble. Each team will have a chance to compete for various prizes.
2. Become a Sponsor: We are offering several sponsorship opportunities to help support the event and raise awareness.
3. Make a Donation: If you can’t attend, you can still make a meaningful impact by donating to the cause.

If you would like to have a 2026 Swing for a Cure golf scrable polo. Please make your purchase on the ticket page. Each shirt is $25 and will feature a section to enter in your size. When checking in your shirt will be available. If you are attedening the golf scramble try your best to wear purple in support of the Alzheimer's Association.
