Here's Johnny! Hollywood Johnny Cosgrove - guitar
He learned from the Blues masters Buddy Guy, Jr. Wells, Otis Rush, Son Seals, John Primer, Sammy Lawhorn, and many, many more. During his Chicago blues scene travels, he met guitar great Mike Gibb, who he considers his mentor, brother, and best friend. Together they formed Mike Gibb and the Homewreckers and went on to play all over Chicago and the Midwest, playing with many of the greatest blues players that Chicago ever produced. John toured and recorded with Studebaker John, Byther Smith, and appeared in the credits for Sam Kinison’s HBO Special. When John moved to Asheville, he formed a close bond with Mr. Jimmy, his friend of 35 years and fellow Chicago Blues Man. He looks forward to serving up Chicago Blues here in Asheville with Mr. Jimmy and the boys.
