We're hosting a fun and relaxed creative retreat focusing on SEED BEADS! Join us in person for a weekend full of learning and inspiration at our creative oasis of a bead shop. Retreat registration includes TWO classes (one Saturday and one Sunday), material kits for those classes, a discount shopping pass to use all weekend at The Bead Place, access to open work tables, first access to optional add-on classes at a discounted price during the retreat weekend, and a swag bag full of goodies, treats, and coupons!

The two classes included with your retreat registration come with material kits and are completely beginner-friendly. You will be learning the Russian Spiral stitch (kit color options) as well as a modified picot edge ladder stitch to create gorgeous bracelets you'll be so excited to wear! These two classes will be taught by Abbi Berta.
Additional optional classes will be available throughout the weekend starting Friday evening, including varied skill level classes taught by various instructors. The registration fees and material/kit fees for these optional ADD-ON classes are NOT included in the price of registration however retreat registrants will receive a discounted price for these classes/materials. Add-On Classes will be announced once the Early Bird Registration period has ended and regular registration has opened. You're going to love them!

Where do I stay? You are responsible for your own accommodations/lodging reservations. Check out our list of recommended nearby places to stay at www.beadplace.net/contactus (Scroll down).
How do I get to the retreat from my hotel/AirB&B? You are responsible for your own transportation. If you are not bringing a vehicle, we recommend staying at one of the hotels that are within walking distance from our store and/or using a ride service like Uber or Lyft.
Are meals provided and are they at set times? You are responsible for your own meals and snacks. You are welcome to bring food/drinks in the store and eat here however we do not have refrigeration available. Feel free to eat meals between classes and snack respectfully during classes if you'd like.
Are there good restaurants/shopping nearby? YES! We are in a major shopping area that is easy to navigate. There are tons of wonderful restaurants, both locally owned and familiar national chains. We're also less than a mile from the local mall!
Are cancellations/refunds available if my plans change? No, sorry. Please make sure you are able to come before you register for our event. We know life happens so we recommend checking out travel insurance if this is a concern for you.
How actually beginner-friendly is this Easy Seed Bead Retreat? Well, we think as long as you're able to string size 11 seed beads, you should be good for the two main retreat classes that are included with registration. Really, no bead weaving experience is necessary. We're here to help you learn in a fun and relaxed environment. PLEASE NOTE: The optional add-on classes will vary in skill level so please pay close attention to the skill level requirements if you are planning to register for any add-on classes! We're more than happy to answer specific skill or dexterity concerns/questions regarding individual classes.
