Repair Cafe Fairport

A Repair Cafe is a community space where people can bring a worn or broken item to consult with a skilled neighbor who might then guide them through repairing it. There is no fee for this (volunteer) service, and the benefits are many.

At a Repair Cafe, you may

- Learn how to fix a worn beloved object
- Give new life to an item so you don’t have to pay to replace it
- Reduce greenhouse gas emissions by keeping things from heading to the landfill and by eliminating the energy required to make a replacement
- Feel empowered by your own self-reliance!
- Connect with other great people in your community

Color Fairport Green and The Fairport United Methodist Church are excited to bring Repair Cafe to our community and grateful to the many volunteers who are helping to make it possible.
