In advance of the much anticipated Fairport Plein Air Festival, this workshop is designed to encourage new and seasoned artists to participate in the Plein Air tradition.......Initial Meeting Spot: The local kayak launch on LiftBridge LanePost-Workshop Wrap-up: The group will return to the gallery at 114 N Main St around 11:30 following the class for light refreshments and an informal gathering and conversation about their work, There will also be an opportunity to view the current exhibit of Collette and Victoria's on display at the gallery!There is free, public, accessible parking as well as a no-step entry. Sidewalks and crosswalk are present along the path to our studio. The gender neutral restroom within our space is large and accessible with grab bars. Keep It Simple: Start SmallUse a lightweight easel and small canvas or panel (8x10" or 9x12" as the largest to start). A compact setup makes it easier to move and focus on essentials.2.
