- **Event Description**: Brand new R’n’R dance classes have started on the Northern side at Allambie Heights!!!  
Want to have fun?  Like to exercise but the gym doesn’t appeal? You can R’n’R but want to learn some new moves? Or improve your R’n’R? Does Elvis get your foot tapping? Or you just love Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry or other music from the 50’s and 60’s?  Sick of sitting on the sofa watching TV? Or perhaps just be social and meet new people?
Whatever the reason come along and join us on Tuesday nights in Allambie Heights!!!

Rock’n’Roll dance classes are starting Tuesday 2nd June 2026. 
Beginners… If you can’t start on the 2nd June you’re welcome to start on the 9th! 
Intermediate/experienced R’n’Rollers… If you can already R’n’R you’re welcome to start any Tuesday night!

⏰ Class times…
6.15pm-7.15pm for Beginners (if you could please be there 5-10 mins early to register and pay would be great)
7.20-7.30pm Social dancing
7.30pm-8.30pm for intermediate/advanced

No previous dance experience… no problem!!! No partner… no problem! You can come on your own or with a dance partner.

Peta and Bruce have been dancing, performing and competing Rock’n’Roll (& other dance styles) since they were knee high to a grasshopper. They’ve been teaching dance, running workshops and choreographing performances for about 25 years. They’re also judges for competition Rock’n’Roll, Rockabilly and Lindy Hop/Swing.
