Perspective is a vexing concept for many artists, and without a solid understanding realism is impossible. In this workshop we will take a deep dive into linear and atmospheric perspective, focusing on practical solutions to perspective problems.

*Learn to identify 1-point, 2-point, and 3-point perspective, and find the horizon line and vanishing points from life or imagination
*Utilize effective perspective techniques in still life, landscape, and figural work
*Discuss color strategies for Plein Air / landscape artists and the science of optics
*Practice quick sketching in perspective from reference
*Complete a piece using linear and atmospheric perspective
