This special event will feature Kim and Julian MacQueen ’73, presenting their talk “Building Innisfree: A Journey of Faith, Vision and Culture in Hospitality.”

Julian MacQueen, founder and chairman of Innisfree Hotels, is a visionary entrepreneur, commercial pilot and developer whose hospitality career began with a summer job and evolved into a mission-driven company stretching across the Gulf Coast and beyond. In 2014, he was honored with the University of South Alabama National Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award.

USA by the Bay events are free and open to the public. Reception with light refreshments to follow. Seating is limited and registration is required at SouthAlabama.edu/SpeakerSeries

Kim MacQueen, a former therapist and university instructor, has shared in Julian’s passion for adventure and purpose-driven leadership. In 2017, the couple embarked on a global journey they call “Around the World in 80 Stays,” piloting their HondaJet HA-420 to explore how hospitality connects people and cultures.
