The Reserve at Fairhope is excited to host its Annual Art Show & Reception, an evening celebrating creativity, culture, and community!
📅 Thursday, November 6 | 4–6 PM
This gallery-style showcase will feature artwork from our talented resident artists alongside local artists highlighted throughout the year. Guests will have the chance to meet the artists, hear the stories behind their work, and connect with fellow art lovers.
A reception will follow the exhibit, offering a relaxed space to mingle and enjoy the evening together.
Featured Artists:
Marcy Matherne
Working exclusively in acrylics, Marcy creates realistic pieces through layered color and texture. Her subjects range from florals and still life to pets and nature. After discovering her love of painting later in life, she now teaches art at the University of South Alabama and other locations.
Curtis Clark
A plein-air and studio artist on the Eastern Shore, Curtis blends impressionistic and contemporary realism to capture the natural beauty of the Gulf Coast and beyond. His work is featured at the Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach and Hello Gallery in Fairhope.
Debbie Davis
Inspired by the forests, rivers, and marshes of the Gulf Coast, Debbie brings her landscapes to life in vibrant color. She also founded Fairhope Plein Air Artists, a group that paints weekly throughout Baldwin and Mobile counties.
Beth Touchstone
Combining realism and impressionism, Beth paints scenes influenced by her love of nature, birding, and gardening. After years of freelance decorative work, she began studying oil painting at the Eastern Shore Art Center and now exhibits locally.
Cheryl Kametz
Known for her expressive landscape oil paintings, Cheryl’s work reflects her love of color and the natural world. She’s studied with national instructors and is active with the Eastern Shore Art Center and Artists by the Bay.
Fran Gentile
Originally from France, Fran creates impressionist oil paintings inspired by her travels and life on the Gulf Coast. Her work can be found at Hello Gallery in Fairhope, Ashland Gallery in Mobile, and The Coastal Arts Center in Orange Beach.
