Hailed as “ a discovery” by Irish newspaper The Clare Champion at the age of 15, and “a phenomenon” by TIME magazine 11 years later, Tim is renowned as one of the leading players, makers, and teachers of the uillean pipes. Tim has since performed with Gerald Trimble, Johnnie Cunningham, Eileen Ivers, Liz Carroll, Billy McComiskey, Seamus Egan, Daithi Sproul, John Doyle, Patrick Ball, Touchstone, Na Casaidigh, Chulrua, Bua, Jefferson Hamer and countless others, appearing on over fifty records, including two with Bela Fleck. He has been featured on A Prairie Home Companion, All Things Considered, and many other radio and television shows.
