Book your spot soon!The PELLETB examination is required as the first portion of the testing process to continue in the hiring process with the Fairfield Police Department and many other law enforcement agencies in California.The PELLETB is a multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blank written examination designed to measure reading and writing ability. Tests take 2 hours and 15 minutes to administer, which includes instructions and exam time. The PELLETB contains four sections:Spelling (applicants select the correct spelling of a word from a list of options)Vocabulary (applicants select the correct meaning of a word from a list of options)Clarity (applicants select the sentence that is most clearly written from a pair of options)Reading Comprehension (applicants read a passage and answer questions about the passage’s content)If you have taken the PELLETB examination within thirty days of this testing date, you are not eligible to take the examination.***If you have completed the PELLETB examination within the last 12 months and received a total T-score of 45 or higher, you do not need to take this portion again to apply for the Fairfield Police Department Police Officer Trainee.SPACE IS LIMITED.
