KCDW ATC Tower Tour

We’re thrilled to offer our students a special behind-the-scenes experience at the Caldwell (KCDW) Air Traffic Control Tower. During the tour, you’ll head up into the tower itself in small groups where you’ll have the chance to meet the controllers who manage our airspace every day. They’ll share stories from their careers, offer insights into their decision-making process, and provide practical tips and tricks for flying in and out of Caldwell and the surrounding busy Jersey skies.

You’ll also get a look at the equipment they use to keep traffic safe and orderly, from radar displays to communication systems, and see how it all comes together in real time. This is an excellent opportunity to better understand the perspective of the professionals on the other end of the radio, and to strengthen your own communication and situational awareness skills as a pilot.

Please note: Due to FAA requirements, attendees must be U.S. citizens to participate. Space is limited, so secure your spot early — this is one event you won’t want to miss!
