This course uses a case scenario approach to focus on the analysis of maternal-fetal physiology related to complex clinical information and fetal heart rate tracings. The course emphasizes the physiology of fetal-maternal oxygenation, the interpretation of tracings, the selection of clinical interventions, and perinatal risk-management principles. Successful completion of the online knowledge validation test is required to receive nursing contact hours/CME for the course. There is a recommended renewal date every two years for the Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course.COURSE ELIGIBILITYAdvanced Fetal Monitoring is for perinatal clinician who has completed the AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Coursework, or a comparable fetal monitoring education program and/or who holds certifications or added credentials in fetal heart monitoring.CE/CME INFORMATIONNursing contact hours: 8 (0.75 hours of pharmacology credits available)Nursing contact hours/CME expire: 1/31/2028GENERAL INFORMATIONCost is $310 and includes Advanced Fetal Monitoring Course: Participant Material - Print 7th Edition.
