Tournament Rules
Only USBC certified members of the Greater Hamilton USBC (GHUSBC) are eligible to bowl in this tournament. Any bowler who is a USBC member, but not a GHUSBC member must purchase a local membership for $10, prior to the start of their shift. Non-members of USBC may enter by paying a Standard membership fee of $27.00 (becoming a member of USBC  & GHUSBC local). USBC rules will govern this tournament, except as stated below. 

Tournament Teams consist of 2 individuals per team.  

A bowler must be 50 years of age or older on the date of participation to be eligible. 
Age classification is determined by the youngest team members age on the date of participation.
Must change one (1) bowler to cash more than once. 

Format: Three (3) games will be bowled in each event. 
Scratch Doubles will be derived from the scores rolled in the Handicap Event. 

Optional Derived Events. Scratch & Handicap Singles $10 per event will be derived from the doubles event. Bowlers may cash once in singles (both handicap & scratch events). Multiple re-entries welcome. 

Handicap will be 90% for men/women of the difference of 220 average, based on the following requirements:
	A. Highest 2024-2025 USBC Certified league average with 21 games or more (winter or summer). If none;
	B. Current 2025-2026 USBC Certified league average with 21 games or more. If none;
	C. An individual may enter the tournament without a verifiable average, with bowler bowling scratch (220)
	D. VERIFIABLE PROOF OF AVERAGE MUST BE PROVIDED AT THE TIME OF CHECK-IN OTHERWISE, PROVISION C ABOVE WILL APPLY.
	F. Any Sport or Non-House pattern leagues must be declared at check-in and will be re-rated based on USBC guidelines. 	Any falsification will result in disqualification. 
	G. If a bowler has been rerated in any tournament within the last 12 months, bowler must report this. 

All prizes will be returned in a 1:5 ratio. 

Co-Champions will be declared if there is a tie for 1st place in any age class, with 1st and 2nd place prize money being divided equally. 

Rules not covered in this entry will be governed by the USBC rules.
