Come chillax and de-stress with CAPS! As a college student, you have a lot of things to juggle and this can increase stress. Join us to help calm your mind, settle your body, and increase self-awareness. Meditation is an effective and simple way to conquer life stresses by calming the mind and body and adding energy, focus, and enjoyment to personal experiences. Research has shown that meditation is highly effective in reducing physical and mental stress.
These workshops are not a treatment group. In addition, these workshops may not address all personal concerns. If you experience significant changes in mood or feel that you may require further assistance, please contact Counseling and Psychological Services at 703-993-2380.
