Join us for a special Kabbalat Shabbat designed to RENEW your spirit. Rabbi Arik Labowitz, a Rabbi of the Renewal tradition, along with accompanying musicians, will lead a moving, musical Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday, May 9th at 7:00pm. We won't be providing a full meal after this service, just light noshing (cookies and fruit).
What is Jewish Renewal ? Renewal is exactly the type of Jewish prayer that Marin needs now! “Jewish Renewal” is a transdenominational approach to revitalizing Judaism combining socially progressive values of egalitarianism, the joy of Hasidism, and the accumulated wisdom of centuries of tradition. Services combine joyful musical prayer and contemplative practices, creating an accessible, yet deep, spiritual experience.
