ABOUT THE MUSICIANS:
Scott Elliott Ferreter, known for his duo, The Feelings Parade, and as a member of beloved Northern-California band, MaMuse, has a history of laying it all on the line. His devotion to music, itself, has him comfortable wearing many hats (songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist), though he is most at home behind the mic. His songs take on topics of ambitious depthโimpermanence, healing, death, and ancestryโ yet his humor and realness bring it all together with gentleness and easeful reverence.
Having played enormous stages like the Masonic (as a special guest of Glen Hansard), as well as the Fox Theater in Oakland, heโs also stayed rooted with a history of playing state prisons and busking on the street. All said and done, he holds a rare kind of presence on whatever stage he steps onto.
---
Daniel Labov Dunne is a classically trained improvisational musician. He studied piano with Tom Turinia, whose teaching lineage traces directly back to Beethoven and Bach. Daniel is also a self-taught singer, guitarist, and harpist, and enjoys creating music freely on the spot, particularly to create joy and playfulness in a space. He was born, raised and homeschooled in a musical family in Fairfax, CA. The qualities of presence and energetic sensitivity behind his music are supported by his work with Living Essence, a spiritual psychology system created by his mentor Scott Hamilton.
