- **Event Description**: This November, Fairbanks Arts invites you to “Behold the Cup”, a stunning group exhibition by the Fairbanks Potters Guild.
From the everyday tea mug to the ceremonial chalice, the cup has been a vessel of creativity, connection, and tradition for centuries. In this exhibition, more than 20 local artists from the Guild showcase their unique interpretations of this timeless form. 
Discover hundreds of one-of-a-kind cups, from wheel-thrown and hand-built designs to beautifully glazed, carved, and textured creations. Behold the Cup celebrates the vibrant ceramic community that continues to enrich the Fairbanks arts landscape.

OPENING RECEPTION: Catch the First Friday opening of this show from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November  7th. The Gallery opens at noon on First Friday, but be sure to stop by the opening reception!
 
ON VIEW: November 7th - 29th, 2025, daily hours after First Friday are noon - 6 p.m., Monday - Saturday.

The Bear Gallery is located on the third floor of the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts building in Pioneer Park (2300 Airport Way, Fairbanks, Alaska).
This exhibition is free and open to the public, thanks to contributions from our members and donors.
