Back by popular demand! After holding this event in early December, demand has been high to hold it again. 

Frederick Currier came to Alaska in 1894.  He spent ten years searching for gold.  After leaving Alaska, Currier wrote a book describing his adventures.  In the book, he pinpointed a creek he mined on the upper Chena.  The Alaska Trappers Association published Currier’s book in 2018.  A few months later, we discovered photos from his mining camp.  Through a series of fortuitous events, we were able to find the camp and recover artifacts.  

Please join us for this FREE event at Raven Landing (1222 Cowles Street, Fairbanks) at 7:00PM on January 8th to learn the details of this Alaskan adventure through a video and formal presentation.
