Join Katie of betterfortheplanet on Sunday, October 5th from 1-3pm.
Make your own patches for a tote bag! We’ll be using various felt pieces and color coordinating embroidering thread to make your ideas come to life and then attach them to a tote bag. Come enjoy some good times, learn basic stitches, and upcycle a bag so you can bring new life into it!
All materials are provided. Please bring a tote bag that you can upcycle. If you don’t have a tote bag to upcycle you can add on at the workshop.
NOTE: Please don't bring anything that is made from plastic, or stretchy. We’ll be using an iron for a small part of the patch making process and we don’t want anything to melt.
Materials provided:
Betterfortheplanet will have lots of fabric and scraps that we can use to create your patch. As well as a selection of embroidery floss to use as the stitching for the final product.
Please reach out to Katie on instagram @betterfortheplanet and you can chat before the workshop!
This is an intro workshop to patches and stitches so we plan on completing one to two small patches but leave with the skills to continue on at home!
Enjoy a grazing board while you work, accompanied by sparkling wine and mocktails. Join with friends or attend solo— you are sure have a lovely time and learn a new skill!
This ticket admits 1 person.
Admission includes materials and knowledge to create your own patch, small bites + 2 glasses of sparkling wine and/or sparkling water.
Please note: As this workshop is being hosted inside the retail area of Lichen, we ask that all attendees must purchase a ticket.
