Community Chanting is where we gather and have the option to use our voices together. 

You could also just sit and listen, play a shaker or other instrument, sing in any tone. You're encouraged to bring any instrument to jam along - percussion and shakers or other noise makers can be a fun addition.

You do not need to be a professional singer, we can be out of tune - we share vibration together.

In this chanting experience, we are invited to repeat sanskirt  words, sounds and phrases rhythmically. Each chant will be translated. 

This can be a very powerful and healing space. 

You might decide to sit, lie down, stand, dance, become emotional - this is the safe space to do YOU.

Chanting is a way to turn up the parasympathetic response in our nervous system. This physiological response happens because a part of our vagus nerve connects down through our voice box. The vibrations create a calming effect.

A $20 cash donation is suggested but not a requirement. Bring what you can or just bring yourself! We want to make this an opportunity to vibe out together.
