This event is also a wonderful opportunity for families to learn more about Single Mom Strong's Men's Mentoring Program and the positive impact caring male role models can have in a child's life.Please register for either the 9:30 AM or 10:30 AM fishing session.Each session includes fishing instruction and river fishing time. Activity stations will be available throughout the event for all participants. Parking can take up to 10 minutes, so please plan to arrive early enough to check in and be ready for your selected session.? What to Expect:Interactive fishing instructionAll fishing supplies provided by the American River Parkway FoundationQuality time in nature with peers and potential mentorsActivity stations available throughout the eventLight snacks, bottled water, and hand sanitizer will be providedRestroom access is available (no running water)? No fishing experience is necessary—just bring curiosity and a sense of adventure!This event is part of our Summer Sports Series and is the final opportunity this summer for children to receive priority consideration for participation in the 2026–27 Men's Mentoring Program. Space is limited.? For MomsMoms are encouraged to stay, observe, and enjoy the morning. This is a great opportunity to meet mentors, connect with other families, and hear from past participants about their experience in the program.Parking is valid for the entire day, so you're welcome to continue enjoying the river after the event concludes.?
