FREE Foray and Parkway Cleanup

Join me on a foray at Mississippi Bar in Fair Oaks! We will be going over seasonal fungi of our local area, fungal ecology and mycorrhizal associations. I will also go over how to key a mushroom to genus.

My last few outings to the parkway I have noticed more garbage than I've ever seen before, I figure this would be a good opportunity to not only teach folks about mushrooms, but also clean up our local environment a bit. The wildlife AND the locals deserve better.

there is plenty of parking along the street at the trailhead.

Maximum of 10 participants, if I take too many people I can be ticketed for not having a permit.

I will provide garbage bags, I'm trying to source an off-road wagon but not sure if I can get one in time.
