Writing To Relax

FREE Creative Writing Course (for adults aged 19+)

Creative writing is a great way to look at the world around you. Writing can help you feel better and deal with problems in life. When you write, you can explore your thoughts and ideas. You can even create new worlds and find a happy place to visit when life feels hard.

In this course, we will look at characters, places, and feelings. We will read some writing by other people and try fun activities and short writing tasks

Pick up a pen and come along to search out the writer in you.

This course is ideal for people who are new to creative writing and want to find new ways to relax

Venue

This class takes place in the Parish Room at St David's Church, Exeter. The Room is situated to the side of the church, off Queen's Terrace and directly opposite Exeter College.

Times and Attendance

Class takes place Thursdays from 26 February

We start at10:00am and finish at 12:00. There will be a short break with free tea or coffee.

You will be required to complete an Exeter College Registration Form at the first session.

Commitment: we ask that learners try to commit to the full 5-week course to enable everyone to get the most from the sessions.

Courses are popular and we run a waitlist on our Eventbrite courses, please advise us if you are no longer able to attend the course so we can offer your place to somebody else.
