Wildlife & Wellbeing Walk

On the first Friday of every month we invite new and long-lasting friends of Shillingford Organics to join us for a walk across the farm. Each walk will have a theme and the theme for March is pondlife!

We'll meet at our Events Barn at 9am. Please come prepared for a walk across muddy and uneven terrain. This includes waterproof and sturdy footwear and warm and waterproof clothing. We'll take a leisurely wander to our newly established ponds. Along the way, we'll look out for signs of the start of Spring and learn how we farm with nature. The ponds are newly established so we'll be looking for signs of wildlife moving in such as water boatman, pond skaters & potentially signs of amphibians. We’ll pause along the way for a few simple mindfulness practices.
