Haldon Forest is bringing you a morning of Wellbeing in the woods. A great chance to try a range of holistic activities. There is an option to take part in the Forest Bathing, Mindfulness and Laughter Yoga. Select the ones you'd like to take part in - to create your own unique Wellbeing in the Woods experience.

All sessions £11 or £15 on the door, if space is available. 18yrs+

Forest Bathing with Aquafolium

Forest -Bathing or Shinrin-yoku is a sensory-rich, immersive and mindful wander in the forest. Forest bathing is not complex or hard but with a little guidance, such as this introductory session. will start you on your way to do it yourself or be inspired to learn more. There is no equipment, just yourself and suitable clothing and shoes for walking. We show you how to do the rest.

The walk is a very gentle one and good for those who are relatively steady on their feet. We undertake a range of activities designed to retune your senses to nature and it finishes with a tea ceremony and you will be given something at the end to take away. Visit www.aquafolium.co.uk.

Mindfulness with Breath Outdoors

Breathe Outdoors will work with you allowing you to step away from the pressures and worries of everyday life and into the wilderness. Through mindfulness, meditation and relaxation practices we will help you to begin a journey of exploration, of yourself and the outdoors.

The session will be centred around a fire as you go through basic principles of mindfulness and some guided meditations/ relaxations aimed at igniting the senses and our responses to them. Laughter Yoga with Creative Laughter

Laughter Yoga is a unique concept, bringing together laughter exercises with deep yogic breathing. Laughter and yoga are perfect for everyone who loves to laugh and great for people who feel they don't laugh enough, or even those who have lost their laughter.
