Video wall training for teaching and research


The Digital Humanities Lab features a 4m wide video wall, useful for highly visual teaching and research events. Training for College of Humanities staff including the opportunity to use the video wall supported by the advisory team is available this term. 

There are a maximum of 20 places available per session, organised at various times on weekdays in term 1 to accommodate as many participants as possible. 

What will the training cover?

- A detailed introduction to the video wall and its capabilities, and the best use of the technology in the space- Connecting devices;- Use of video, PowerPoint and adjusting the audio;- Using the interactive tables for group exercises;- Opportunities to observe the video wall using a range of software.

The training will enable you to:

- Navigate the set up of the video wall independently or with some support from the team ahead of your events;- Design your content for the video wall in a way that is visually appealing for your audiencel;- Approach events using the video wall more confidently;- Understand the support on offer, and the range of media that can be used effectively.
