Spread Academy 2019
The South West Academic Health Science Network (SW AHSN) is excited to be running its first Spread Academy in Exeter next Spring. We are inviting individuals and teams who are working to improve health and social care to apply for a place on this four-day programme.
The programme is aimed at individuals and teams leading and working on the spread and adoption of a significant innovation or service improvement with a focus on achieving scale. This tailored and customised learning programme and will be delivered by the SW AHSN’s Spread Academy Faculty, in collaboration with the Billions Institute in the USA.
There are a limited number of funded places for teams working in the South West and a competitive process will be used to allocate these places. Applications will be considered from all parts of health and social care across the South West and we are keen to attract people from a diverse range of areas and organisations.
Self-funded places: Suitable for anyone working in or interested in spread and adoption for large-scale change. We will send you a short application form with further details on how to make the payment. If you are selected, the cost for participation will be up to £1900 (excluding VAT) including the cost of hotels and meals.
Funded places in the South West: Suitable for people working on large-scale change in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, Devon and Somerset whowould like to apply for funded places for you and your team (between two and nine places). More details on how to apply for funding will be shared with you in due course. If you are selected, you will be required to cover the costs for your travel, accommodation and subsistence. Expression of interest for funded places will close on 05 January 2019 and interviews will take place mid-January 2019.
