- **Event Description**: A CPD-accredited training workshop raising awareness of Spiritual AbuseAbout this EventIntercom Trust offers a safe and non-judgemental environment in which to learn about and reflect on the experiences of those who have been affected by Spiritual Abuse.The overall aim of this training is to help raise awareness of Spiritual Abuse and how it may impact people’s lives.It has been written by Intercom Trust professionals (including counselling psychotherapists and clinical supervisors), and draws upon the in-depth knowledge, statistics and experiences of individuals experiencing spiritual abuse.Practical info:The training runs from 09.30-4pm, to a small group of up to 12 attendees in Exeter.The training is delivered within the framework of a PowerPoint presentation, with small and larger group exercises and discussions making up the greater part of content.There are lunch, morning and afternoon breaks, and all resources/handouts will be emailed after the training.Refreshments are provided, please bring your own lunch.CPD certificate is issued by email after completion of training.Accessibility & transport /parking:The Exeter venue is on ground floor (please contact for further accessibility needs).Enablers /support assistants can attend at no cost (please email organiser to arrange).Parking: some spaces on site, street parking nearby or short walk to town car parks.Transport: 15 minutes’ walk from a main train station (Exeter St James's Park and on bus routes).This course is CPD accredited by The CPD Certification Service and it holds 5.5 hours of CPD.Your fees for this training are used to fund our vital services.
