Our brilliant Over 60s Disco is back! With DJ Izaac James!
A fun space to come together, socialise and dance, for anybody over the age of 60. Stuffed full of fun & eclectic tunes! Join us for an unforgettable night of music and dancing at Exeter Library.
This February we’re getting all loved up with a special Valentine’s Edition ❤️
Once again, the tunes will be provided by the excellent Izaac James - expect a range of music from timeless classics to chart-topping hits, with tracks from the 60s to the present day, and genres spanning rock, pop, Disco, Northern Soul and many more… And possibly a couple of soppy love songs thrown in - plus Izaac takes requests on the night and when you sign up for a ticket online.
Need to quench your thirst? Our fully stocked bar has you covered with a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks to keep you refreshed as you dance the night away.
Plus, where better to boogie than among the books? Enjoy the relaxed ambience of the library, transformed into a dance floor for one special evening. The perfect space to socialise, make new friends, and let loose in a unique setting. It'll be anything but quiet.
Tickets are Pay What You Want starting from just £3. This event is aimed at the over-60's, but of course if you're getting close to 60 you're welcome to give it a go (we don’t ID)
Dress Code: Reds and Pinks
Please note, this event takes place in a carpeted area.
Doors at 7pm. Please be aware that the Library will be closed to the public from 6 until 7pm so try to avoid coming early! The music will kick off at 7.15 sharp, and will finish by 9.15pm
