Folk in the Library is a free, genre-blurring daytime festival at Exeter Library, celebrating some of the South West's finest folk and folk-inspired artists. On Sunday 19th April, 12 acts take over two stages from 1pm to 6pm, bringing together award-winning names and rising local talent for an afternoon of music that spans traditional roots to bold contemporary sounds.
The line-up includes Jon Fazal, Cloud, Iris, GIRLHOOD, The Other Woman, and Anna Anise, plus storytelling from Henry Everett. You'll hear haunting ballads, myth-soaked storytelling, indie-infused anthems and boundary-pushing folk across the Rougemont Room Stage and the Main Library Floor.
No tickets needed. No entry fee. Families welcome. Simply turn up and enjoy the music.
If you'd like to help us plan ahead, you can register via TicketSource and we'll send you a reminder closer to the date. Donations on the day are welcome, with all proceeds going directly back into supporting Exeter Library.
Please note that seating on the main floor and capacity in the Rougemont Room are limited, so both operate on a first come, first served basis. This is an alcohol-free event.
