Motor vehicle collisions are sudden, chaotic, and unforgiving. What happens in the moments after a crash can make the difference between recovery and tragedy.
This course is about more than cutting metal — it’s about saving lives through smarter, faster, and safer decisions. Whether you’re a firefighter, police officer, or paramedic, your actions at the scene shape patient outcomes.
In this engaging, hands‑on workshop, you’ll explore how EXIT works in the real world, how it supports early care that truly makes a difference, and how multi‑agency responders can use the same framework to improve outcomes for everyone involved. Together, we’ll challenge long-held beliefs, introduce new tools like the U-STEP Out approach, and put patient-centred rescue at the heart of every decision.
This session is free if you are working as part of a co-ordinated post-collision response. This is an initial training program which will be evaluated in terms of the training package itself and the impact on system-wide quality measures.
