Exeter Phoenix moves outdoors for four nights of cinema under the stars. This year we will sing, and we will dance. We will make new friends and challenge old ones. And along the way, we might just discover that the best stories happen when the sun goes down.

Charles is an eccentric lottery winner who lives alone on a remote island. He dreams of getting his favourite musicians, McGwyer Mortimer, back together. The fantasy becomes real when the bandmates and former lovers agree to play a private show at his home on Wallis Island. Old tensions resurface as Charles tries desperately to salvage his dream gig.

Balancing authentic emotions with British awkwardness The Ballad of Wallis Island is the perfect outdoor cinema choice for fans of comedy, music and feel-good films.
