Prepare to journey through galleries of questionable fashion choices, ambitious hair experiments, athletic photos that lacked athleticism, and the brave era of over-plucked eyebrows. Each presenter will unveil a carefully crafted showcase — complete with photographic evidence and personal narration — documenting their transformation from awkward adolescence to the moderately evolved adults you know today.

This immersive retrospective will explore:

• The Era of Unfortunate Hairstyles
• The Phase of Deeply Committed Cringe
• The Confidence That Came Anyway
• And the undeniable glow-up that followed

Attire: Dress as identical as you can to an image of your younger self. Emotional resilience recommended.

Join us for an evening of nostalgia, storytelling, and collective healing as we honor the phases that built us. Your presentation WILL be graded.

Your presentation will be graded by our highly qualified, extremely unbiased judging panel. Please take this seriously. Or don’t. But also… do.

⏳ Time Limit

• 7-10 minutes max
• If you go over, the music will play you off (dramatically).

📸 Required Slides (Non-Negotiable)

You MUST include photos from:

1. Early Childhood (Baby–Elementary School)
2. Middle School (Brace yourself.)
3. High School (Hello, bangs & puca shells!)
4. College / Early Adult Years

Yes. We want the awkward phases.
Yes. Your parents probably have the evidence.
Yes. We will zoom in.

🧒 What to Cover in Each Era

For each life stage, please address:

• What activities were you involved in?
• What was your personality like?
• What did you think you were going to be when you grew up?
• What trends were you personally victimized by?
• Any iconic fashion, hair, or questionable decisions?

🎨 Grading Criteria

Your presentation will be judged on:

1. Visual Aesthetic (Creativity Counts!)

• Theme consistency
• Effort level

2. Entertainment Value

• Storytelling
• Humor
• Self-awareness
• Crowd engagement

3. Vulnerability & Bravery

• Willingness to show awkward phases
• Honesty about middle school personality
• Bold fashion confessions

4. Overall Evolution Arc

We’re looking for:

• Character development
• Plot twists
• Redemption stories
• Unexpected glow-ups

• Including a former crush reveal
• Showing a cringey talent show performance

🚫 Things That Will Lose Points

• “I couldn’t find any pictures.”
• 47 slides with no narration.
