- **Event Description**: We are making some real progress and we need your help!

Meet at the airport parking lot.  The trail head is just across the road at the clearing. If you cant arrive at the start time we will be working on the trail that goes off to the right.  Unfortunately we will have to hike in a way.

Wear sturdy shoes, long pants and long sleeves.  Gloves are a must to avoid blisters.  Safety glasses are recommended.  Bring a way to carry water with you if possible.

We will have plenty of tools available, but feel free to bring your own pulaski or pick axe. 

We will primarily be removing Shrub Honeysuckle by the roots to shape the trail corridor.  We will also be filling a small well with rocks and dirt.  The goal in the next 1-2 workdays is to reach a rock bluff outcropping.  When we accomplish this we hope to open the trail to the public for foot traffic.  

This is strenuous physical work, but anyone is welcome to join us.  All volunteers are required to sign a waiver found here-
