Wed April 1st 2pm: Sue Ablett will be speaking about "Bums on Seats" - Behind the Scenes at the Evesham Festival of Words.

Sue Ablett has been Chair of the Evesham Festival of Words since it launched in 2016 and continues to be the driving force behind its hugely successful expansion from a single weekend to the year-long festival it has now become.

Before retirement, Sue had a varied career starting as a Russian linguist at GCHQ, University administration and research,  picking up a PhD along the way - just for fun! During the last twenty years, Sue was Executive Director of a National Children’s Cancer Charity.

The afternoon should be both interesting and informative. The talk will, as usual, be followed by refreshments and an opportunity to socialise with fellow members.
