1-DAY WORKSHOP: Surface Decoration with Tanya Garza

Level: ALL (some basic clay experience recommended)

1:30 – 4:30 pm

Ready to bring color, pattern, and personality to your clay pieces? This fun, hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners who have a little clay experience and want to explore new surface techniques.

You’ll learn how to decorate leather-hard clay using Mishima, Sgraffito, underglaze transfers, sprig molds, and underglaze blending—plus how to layer these techniques for even more creative results!

All materials are provided, including practice tiles and a tumbler for your own design. We’ll clear-glaze and fire your work after class, and you’ll be notified when it’s ready for pickup.

Come play, experiment, and discover how easy and exciting it can be to turn your clay into a true work of art!
