The Viking Fest Minnesota invites Adults to express their inner Viking! Come join us for a weekend of Mead, Music & Revelry! Garb yourself in your most badass Viking costumes and immerse yourself in the glory of the Viking Age. Experience the living skills and combat skills of our Ancestors. If our ancestors are not your ancestors, ours probably voyaged to meet yours (for one reason or another) so come party with us anyway! The event will feature a wide array of activities - music, games, archery, axe throwing, vendors selling Viking gear & wares, food, and mead! Everything you need to Party like a Viking! Held at the cusp of changing seasons, when all those who went Viking would return to their home ports to tell tales of their exploits and share their spoils, we’ll gather on September 16th - 17th. Our celebration is in east central Minnesota, with easy travel from all corners of the state. Exact location is given when tickets are purchased. 
 
VIP Event Friday, Sept. 16th (5-10pm)
Join us for an evening of Feasting and Adventure! We’ll feast just as the Vikings did for special occasions, paired with the finest mead in the land. Wandering skalds will entertain you, educate you, and tweak your egos. As for Adventure, we’ll have an experiential encounter.

General Fest: Saturday, Sept. 17th: 10:30am-6:30pm.


Limited tent camping is available for Friday and Saturday night.

If we were a movie, we would be rated R+. If we were a video game, we’d be rated M+. But we’re a festival and we’re rated V for Viking! So in the interest of preserving the innocence of minors from the bawdy behavior of mead-sodden revelers, we have the following age restrictions: Friday VIP night, you must be 21+. For the main event on Saturday, you must be 18+. We’re committed to protecting your children’s eyes and ears from things they may not be ready for, because it’s the right thing to do.
