The stories we tell about ourselves and our experiences contributes to who we are becoming and what we stand for. Weaving our experiences into a story is an act of owning the wisdom of our life experiences. It is an invitation for the listeners to feel connected to themselves, the story as well as the teller. This half day workshop is an opportunity to explore what may be some of the stories you can share from your own life, who you can tell them to and how it can enable you to make a lasting impact on your listener. This workshop is for you if want to tell personal stories to influence, lead or inspire others.
What will we do?
In this workshop you will:
- Tap into one’s inner resources for uncovering stories
- Practice crafting an experience into a story
- Practice listening deeply to stories- fundamental to the art of storytelling
- Identify how the intent and the audience influences the choice and shape of the story
