Our feelings of grief, anger, and pleasure are portals. We are not becoming new but rather RECLAIMing what has been repressed - our full range of feelings, self-love, pleasure, emotional truth, bodily wisdom, self-trust - and unfolding performance into presence.This circle is held right before Beltane, the sacred day that honours pleasure. As the world continues to enrage us and break our heart, it is an act of rebellion to remember that pleasure is our birthright. This is what patriarchy stole. We have a lot to be angry for!As anger gets metabolized in our body, we need to move through it and mobilize. This circle incorporates ritual theatre and somatic ritual practices to create change and also step into our power and comfort with anger. Anger is a powerful messenger that tells us when our needs are not met and offers us oracle wisdom! Her pleasure work conjures a deeply felt aliveness, by connecting to the present moment rooted in beauty and nature, with all senses attuned to a delicious moment of awe. In her work as a feminist therapist, breathwork coach, ceremonialist, circle facilitator, and grief tender, she holds space for women as they navigate rites of passage. She centres her work with feminism, somatic nervous system resourcing, and sacred feminine spirituality. Her most treasured identities are mother, friend and partner. As a daughter of immigrants, she is finding her Slavic roots after losing her own mother. As someone who honours the sacred feminine and how it lives in each of us, vania is coming to the end of her journey with perimenopause, and is embracing the gift of apprenticing as a future Crone.
