The Shadow is the unconscious part of our character or personality that does not align with the ego's ideal version of Self. 

Our Shadow arises through experiences in life where the ego rejects parts of itself in order to fit in and feel safe. 

Through rejection of these parts we not only deny part of who we are, and therefore deny our own personal power, but it also causes us to unconsciously project onto other people. 

Shadow Work is working with your subconscious mind to uncover these parts of yourself, to bring understanding and to integrate them back into your being. It is the most rewarding and freeing experience, and it allows you to stand deeper in love for your Self and for others.
