About this Event

This is a one-week course, and full attendance is mandatory. If you miss more than two hours of instruction, you will not receive credit for the class. If you are unable to commit to attending the full week, please do not register at this time.

Class dates are posted weeks to months in advance to help with scheduling—please plan accordingly.

That said, we understand that life happens. If something outside of your control arises, please notify us as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to work with you.

All registered members will be screened for eligibility. You will receive an email notification confirming your selection to attend the course. If the course is full, please register for the waitlist in the event an ineligible registrant is removed.

A welcome email with full reporting instructions will be sent out no later than one week prior to the course start date.

NCOFC 500

PRIORITY 1 NCOFC 500: TSgts who have not attended NCOA. If seats are limited, use TIG, TIS and promotion sequence to number to determine scheduling priorities.PRIORITY 2 NCOFC 500: SSgts with more than 24 months’ TIG and any pending assignment or deployment.PRIORITY 3 NCOFC 500: SSgts with a minimum of 18 months’ TIG. In addition, all eligible Air Force and Department of Defense civilians, sister service equivalent ranks, and approved international students.


"REQUIRED ITEMS" - Laptop or Tablet to access course material.The NCO Foundations Course 500 replaces the base level NCO Professional Enhancement Seminar and will be a prerequisite for the Noncommissioned Officer Academy. The course provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to lead by setting the example. It also enhance the students’ capacity to continually advance factors that shape organizational culture, offer guidance that empowers students to reflect on their behaviors in relation to the Airman Leadership Qualities and facilitate students’ comprehension of techniques that contribute to establishing robust networks. The NCOF500 assist students in grasping the connection between attention to detail, establishing impactful communication and fostering a culture of trust. It promotes the realization that asking the appropriate questions involves understanding how to utilize the answers effectively.
