Monsters of Yule Tour

Krampus is far from the only traditional terrifying creature associated with Yuletide. In virtually every country and region, there is a creature whose job it is to dole out punishment and retribution. There is a veritable pantheon of “monsters” roaming the lands looking for the naughty children. Each December, KrampusAP offers this walking and storytelling tour through Asbury Park’s Historic Downtown. Hear stories of Gryla and her 13 sons, the creepy and rambunctious Yule Lads. Learn about the ethic of Iceland and the Mountain size cat that keeps people in line.
