Part A: Lecture component of Local Anesthesia Administration for Dental Hygienists training. This course was designed to meet the requirements outlined by Florida Statute 466.017 for Administration of Local Anesthesia by Dental Hygienists.

The coursework consists of two components - Part A 30 hours of lecture and Part B 30 hours of clinical - for a total of 60 contact hours. Participants must successfully complete the Local Anesthesia Administration lecture component (Part A) prior to continuing on to the clinical component (Part B). Successful completion of both the lecture and clinical components is required to apply for Florida Certification in Local Anesthesia. Contact Hours: 30
