- **Event Description**: Please join us for the Christmas Lighting Ceremony and the Christmas Parade on Friday, November 28 beginning at 6:30. The lighting ceremony will begin at 6:30PM at the gazebo on North Main Street. Followed by the parade which will begin at 7:00PM and will be following the Friendly Festival parade route which begins at the nursing home. The Hay Springs Chamber will be providing hot cider and cookies in the gazebo.

If you would like to have a float in the parade please meet in the nursing home parking lot directly after the lighting ceremony. We love to have lots of different floats, so think outside of the box and decorate anything you have (cars, motorcycles, side by sides, tractors, boats, golf carts, ANYTHING) and enter it as a float. First place will receive $150 in Chamber Bucks
Second place will receive $75 in Chamber Bucks
Third place will receive $50 in Chamber Bucks
Kids Division (anyone under the age of 15) will have two winners
First place kids division will receive $30
Second place kids division will receive $20
