Lancaster County 4-H "Growing Together Garden Club" 2025-2026

"Growing Together 4-H Garden Club" is a place for youth who enjoy gardening to come together. They will be able to learn beyond planting a garden and learn through hands-on activities. Throughout the 4-H year youth will maintain plants in raised beds, pots, and in a pollinator garden. The club also offers a small greenhouse for growing things in.

Led by SC 4-H Teen Ambassador, Madelyn Anderson, the club is open to a maximum of 6 youth, ages 9-18, who are enrolled in 4-H. We will meet the 1st Sunday of every month between 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. However, timing may change depending on the season. Supplementary meetings will be encouraged for youth who want to further their participation in gardening!

Our first meeting will be on October 5th from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm and we hope to see you there! The location of the meetings will be in the vicinity of the Andrew Jackson State Park. The exact address will be shared with those that enroll in the club.

Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership in is required for participation in this event.

Custodial Care: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
